Abdominal RegionsRight hypochondriac region- contains the right side of the liver, right kidney and a portion of the diaphragm
Right lumbar region- contains portions of the large intestines and the right kidney Right iliac region- contains portion of the small intestines and large intestine Epigastric region- contains the pancreas and portions of the stomach, liver, inferior vena cava, abdominal aorta and duodenum Umbilical Region- contains sections of the small and large intestines and a portion of the left kidney Hypogastric region- portion of the sigmid colon, urinary bladder and ureters, and portions of the small intestine Left hypochondriac region- contains portion of the diaphragm, the spleen, the stomach, liver, the left kidney, and part of the pancreas Left lumbar region- contains portions of the small and large intestine and a portion of the left kidney Left iliac region- contains portions of the small and large intestine |
